Oh well here are a lot of pics of the last three days. At the end you will notice some zoo pictures. Well we went to the Atascadero Zoo and let me tell you don't waste your money. They have no "real" zoo animals. They have a lot of turtles a few birds and I think a lemur was the most exciting. I think it took a whole 15 minutes to walk around and that was with us stalling and using the restroom. I had to put the kids in a cage and tell them to be monkeys. That was the most exciting part. Anyway I hope y'all enjoy the pictures.

Lots of Dirt!
This past weekend we took a time out from all the heat and went camping at Morro Bay. Oh my gosh how fun it was. We camped right on Morro Strand at it was wonderful. There are so many shells and tide pools, the kids had a blast. Gabriel might have been the exception. As we were walking on the beach he wanted to be carried the whole time we told him no that he had to walk himself and he started crying and screaming " I don't like this it's lots of dirt" then as I finally was carrying him back to the campground he kept saying "dirty, filthy beach." The rest of the weekend it was known as the "scary" beach by him. He did like the "little" beach that was down by Morro Rock. He loved watching the surfers. I will give him a few more visits and I am sure he will start enjoying it.

Dance Recital
The girls had their recital this past Saturday and they did an awesome job! I can't believe how talented my girls are. I always get so nervous for them when they perform and this time was no exception. I was excited because this was Gilli's first time ever performing and Chyna has moved up into a lot harder more grown up dancing. Well like I said they did awesome so there was no need for any of us to worry.
Gillian was in a gymnastic class this year. It was more of tumbling and dance combined. She did the most awesome cartwheels I have seen. Definitely the best in the class. She even taught Gabriel to do cartwheels and people are amazed when they see this little 3 year old cartwheeling all over the place. I am just so proud of how far Gillian has come from that little girl that I couldn't pry off of me.
Chyna danced in two classes this year, jazz and hip hop. Her hip hop dance was first and I didn't get any pictures or even record it because once she came out on stage I literally started crying. She was just so great. I know her class was having a little trouble with it but they came though and I love to see that. I love to see her and all my kids progress. Her next dance was jazz and she was awesome of course. I think jazz is her favorite. She did tell me she wanted to do jazz and ballet next year and no hip hop.
It was a special night for me as a mom. I love all my kids so much.

Beach Time
Last weekend Jason finally had it off after working Saturdays for months. Who knew produce was so important? So we decided to head over to Pismo for a little family fun. Our first stop was Splash cafe in SLO. No one ate breakfast that morning so with a car full of hungry kids we knew we had to feed them before we got into Pismo. It was great, no line, clean restaurant, same old Splash food. The best part of it was the nice warm weather. Then we drive on into Pismo, parked and climbed out of the car to freezing cold beach air. Our first stop was to get sweatshirts because of course I forgot to make sure all the kids had sweatshirts. Anyway we had a lot of fun despite the cold. Savannah even dared the weather and tried to boogie board. We also saw an injured seal Sunday morning on the beach. It was fun and very relaxing. Most of all my husband had a weekend off, hooray!

Band Festival
There has been so much going on lately but I have not had any time to blog. Once summer hits I will be so much better I am sure of it.
Anyway one of the great things over the past few weeks was the Sanger Band Festival. It was all 5th -12th grade band students in our school district. Chyna plays the flute so she was performing in it. They sounded so great. Each grade played a few songs and then they all played a songs at the end. I was amazed at how wonderful they all sounded. The Sanger High band was really good. So way to go Chyna and all the other kids in Sanger Unified!

The Proposal
This week I got a new boyfriend and a very decent marriage proposal. The most adorable 3 year old boy declared me his girlfriend on Monday and Tuesday said we were getting married "a day" (today for all those who don't understand 3 year old talk) How could I turn that down? Unfortunately it only lasted for half of Tuesday because when his older sister came home he quickly dumped me for my own daughter.

Bunnies and Birthdays
I am not going to type to much for this post. We have been really busy lately. We had a great Easter and celebrated Jason's 30th birthday; finally he has joined me into the thirties! So here are a few pictures of what has been going on lately. Maybe after my semester of school is out I will have a little more time to blog...
